We believe everyone who seeks care should be able to access affordable treatment. Many conditions we treat are covered by the patient’s medical insurance. Some of our services are not covered by insurance or a specific plan — in those instances we will work with our patients and provide transparency on the out-of-pocket costs.
Payment and Insurance Information
As a specialty practice, we can bill for our services under medical insurance. We have worked hard to be in-network with many major insurance plans.

Referrals & Authorization
HMO insurance plans require a referral from a primary care provider to cover the cost of the appointment. Please have your primary care physician fax a referral to 760.436.5123.
Many insurance plans require prior authorization before they will cover the cost of treatments. Authorization must be approved prior to treatment. Authorization can take anywhere from 5-10 days, depending on the insurance provider. If you’re looking to speed up the process, you may wish to:
- Review your medical insurance for coverage.
- Call your insurance company to discuss your benefits.
- Have your doctor fax a referral to us at 760.436.5123.
- Inform our staff of any pertinent information you obtain about your coverage.
